just after figuring out my ek9 must have been stroked as the rods out of my mangled engine are p72, and the revlimit was 8400. can the ecu boards be swapped in stock ecu's? as mine still has the pct part number on it.
is there any identification on the circuit board i can go by if i take off the ecu cover?

Sounds like it had the oem 1.6 ecu running a 1.8. This would have been running lean and poss caused the distruction of the 1.8.

Get a 95-98 JDM dc2 ecu if your going back to 1.8.
Dunx

it was missed gear/over rev that scattered my engine,
i ran a b16b since but it only revved to 8400, should the pct not have an 8800-9000 rpm limiter?

goin k now with the ek9 but putting the b16b in something else so wondering have i wonky ecu,

Open the lid off ecu and look at plug end on it, there should be a sticker saying "pct" or "p73" if b18c ecu. The boards can be swapped between casings.
