Team honda Jambo, it's all go now. Just need to source a loom. Any nice member wanna sell him a preface lift loom so we can get the b18 dropped in! Would be much appreciated!

Oh we re in business now! Saw an add on gumtree selling a loom, text the boy and he assured me it was an engine loom off a ek4 vti b16a2, went to Edinburgh to get it and its a ******* mb6 b18c4 loom like I already had, wasn't happy like! Getting one from vtec performance min

Always wanted a shiney exhaust manifold,so thought I'd have a go at cleaning up the old one, first branch came up not bad! Think I'm might do the whole thing.

The exhaust flanges met but the bolt holes didn't line up,so I cut the flange off the cat, rotated it the correct about and welded it back on (rookie welding haha). The cat was past its best and didn't work very well so I made it into a "sports cat" ;).

Got the engine loom today! Did a bit of night shift to get it all plugged in and fired her up. Won't idle by itself but runs fine with some throttle, there doesn't seem to be a plug on the loom for the map sensor (must be tucked away somewhere, will have to have a poke about) and there are 2 fault codes; -intake air temperature(IAT). -electronic load detector (ELD). I do have one 'spare' plug that seems to land about where the air induction pipe sits. If I can't figure it out il post a few pictures so you guys can help haha

The alternator plug was different, mines needs a 3 pin but the loom had a 4 pin, so I cut the plug off the old mb6 loom and got the soldering gun and heat shrink out, works fine,no battery light on

Put the silicone hoses and induction kit on today, looking good (after an hour of ******* about that turned out to be a bad earth! On the started position on the key the cooling fan came on and the engine didn't turn, turned out there's a bad earth from the gearbox). It runs and revs up no bother but it idles ruff and has a fault code 'electronic load detector (ELD) which from what I know controls the alternator,I wouldn't think that would make the engine run rough though? Any ideas ha.

Poured some fuel system cleaner in the tank and took the car out for some abuse today, it's a hell of a lot faster than the D series, love it! Still have a problem though, idle is too low when cold and slight misfire :(

Signed off work for a month due to a hernia! Couldn't resist a bit of Internet shopping! The inlets are supposedly quite restrictive on the c4 so I've purchased a skunk2 pro series inletanifold and a skink2 alpha 70mm throttle body, also bought a new TPS because the original looks like it took a knock from the previous owner, and I thought I might aswell out a new map sensor on while I'm at it and that will be the induction sorted! Also bought a thermostat as it seemed to take ages to get up to temperature.

Skunk2 pro series inlet manifold and skunk2 alpha series 70mm throttle body arrived today from vtec performance. More than happy with there service, packaging was great too!

The inlet manifold requires a bit of porting for the larger diameter throttle body, order some team era off the bay haha.
