Civic Jordan #228 (B18C track build)

That's good was thinking of the same setup. Just with some braided lines.
Did you get them from tegiwa

Should be good on track. Hopefully no brake fade anyway

Nice updates!

Thank you :)

I have HEL braided lines but they are going to get changed soon for some goodridge ones as they have seen better days I think.

I got the pads off a member on here and the discs off ebay as they were cheaper than anywhere else, even cheaper than the vendor off here! Hopefully no brake fade as Iv got good brake fluid, pads and discs now, just need to see how it all goes :nerv:

Great work as always mate, you painting the wings yellow as well in future? would look awesome with them yellow I think.

Forgot about eBay ha.
Good luck with the track day make sure you update the thread and get a few vids.
Dying to see this in action

So the trackday went very well! Car was great and didn't have a problem all night which I was happy about :)

Just need to get more confident on track and get my times down. Managed a 67-68second lap on my 3rd outing that I have on video but the battery died on my 4th stint out and I was a good bit quicker then so I recon about a 66 second lap which I am happy about for my first time!

Found a few photos of my car from the track night so here they are :nice:

If anyone else got any pics it would be cool if you could share them :)

It was a big learning curve for me and I know what I have to work on for next time and also know what the car needs to perform better.

Next outing will probably be in a few weeks or so as hoping to get my arches sorted next. I have caught the bug and can see this becoming a regular thing

First video is my very first time on track, was pretty nervous lol

Videos aren't great and my driving probably isn't the best but can only get better!

Had a good few laps with a DC5, FN2 and a Mini Cooper S that all had alot of track experience and I done pretty well with them.

Guess the most important part is that it was so much fun!

Looks like you had fun.
Your in deep now my friend!

Videos are looking wicked mate :)

Me too man, spoke with viney about they're next one on the 23rd of July :) so get on that plus some of the open knockhill stuff.

Same here I'm going to do an open night in either May or June then see about the July night.

Nice laps. How did the brakes go while you were out any brake fade or anything.

So since the track day not much has happened really until the other day.

Let me start from last weekend. My carbon boot has had a bit of lacquer peel for a while now

So decided to rub it back and relacquer it, went quite well tbh :)

After that I left it until this weekend to fully set and polished it with a cutting compound etc... Came up well and looks 10x better than it did :D!

Anyway :) onto the main mod.

Bought some BYC spoiler mounts

Then borrowed my friends BGW off his mr2 just to test so I could see how it looked

Held it up against the car and I loved it, not to everyone's taste I understand but it's my car and I'm building it for myself so I do as I please :D

Since I loved it so much I instantly phone my mate and he agreed to sell me it as he wasn't really using it much anyway! Some pics fitted!

I gave the spoiler a rub down and relacquered it as well as it had seen better days, still to do the underside of it.

That's it for now. Ordered more oil from @oilman for my next trackday in a few weeks. Then I will be building a front diffuser from some 12mm marine ply then testing them on track and tweeking that and the spoiler to work together :nice:
