Cleaning Rocker Cover?

As you all know and most of you have experienced the red honda rocker cover gets dirty and stained! I have a brand new one on my car 2 weeks and it got dirty already! Does anyone here know how to effectively clean the rocker covers without damaging them? Thanks in advance!

engine degreaser & water should do the trick.

engine degreaser takes off clear coat depending on what brand it is...

I just use engine degreaser. I don't even wash mine off, just wipe off. Hasn't affected the paint or colour at all.

I used engine degreaser and it wrecked my red rocker cover and i had to get another red rocker cover ,try hot soapey water

I will try the warm soapy water but do i just wipe with a sponge or what do I do? Thanks for the help because as you all know its a pain in the a**!!!

Gunk engine degreaser, not too much though or you'll fetch the paint off. I sprayed my exhaust manifold heatshield with some high temp paint too, big improvement.

wow, you guys must have some strong degreasers there. Must be many variations in degreasers.

if the engine degreaser has a high concentration of toluene it'll remove the paint off the cover real quick.
