Close ratio gears

No mate just the standard LSD at the moment. Going to get it out on track first and see how that does before I think about upgrading it.
 
Yeah. Like a massive leap of man kind when a plate LSD was invented!
 
Haha! I went from not much power and no LSD to B18C and oem LSD and it felt amazing the difference. I have looked at a few boxes with plate LSD and been tempted!
 
Well it's like that step again.
I wouldn't own a fwd track car without one now.
I'd have a stock car with a plate LSD and some sticky tyres before anything else.
You won't be disappointed with the one track performance. Can be annoying on the road but I've lived with one daily before now.
 
Do you have to modify to casing or is it just a straight replacement for the oem one?
 
I've fitted 3 different plate LSD's
2 in s4c and 1 in my brothers ep3(not sure what the box is called lol) and I've not had to modify any casings to get them in and working.
If im honest i literally just drop the diff in and away I go lol never had any issues.
 
Might wait a bit longer, do the diff, gearset and synchros all at once while the box is out and open lol

Honestly you won't be disappointed.
If I could take you out in mine I would.
 
I would rather wait and do thing properly than make a half arsed job and cause myself twice the work later down the line :p

Shame I live miles away that would have been good!
 
I dont like close ratio, not at drag. it's fine on track.

Prefer 4.9FD with S80 N3E 5 gear 0.787. longere topspeed :)
