In my k20 dc2 The clutch is very hard and biting point is very low, lifting the clutch pedal and grips instantly is the clutch finished. Need to change clutch or adjust the clutch pedal?
Also when driving normal gears are smooth, at high revs I can't get any gear in feels there locked cant select any unless I let the revs drop abit and change gear smoothly.
Also my release bearing started making a noise

id try adjust the clutch pedal first, check that the hydraulic system is operating properly. Sounds like its not lifting pressure plate off. Was it a new clutch or second hand? might be damage to the fingers on the drive plate or a very worn pressure plate. A noisy release bearing is a good sign that its not a new clutch.

If adjusting the pedal doesnt help, which tbh i dont think it will and your sure the hydraulic system is operating properly. Its gearbox off time i think.

The clutch was new Dont know if they put a new realease bearing or kept the old
One. I was going to adjust the pedal tonight and bleed the system again and then if that doesn't sort it out get a new clutch fitted.
I forgot what nut to adjust to sort the pedal out. Do I need to stop any movement in the pedal? Do I screw or u screw to get the slack away

I honestly cant remember, try it and see. Also try gravity bleeding the system for a bit then build pressure, release, close and repeat. make sure the the res stays topped up or it will draw air back into the system easily!

Just had the car up the ramp tonight and the shifter cables have been installed wrong of what I have seen.there loose, bent and twisted. Is there any write up or pics how to properly install them?

Were they oem dc5 cables? Do they run under your car via a hole which has been cut for the shifter, or do they run through the firewall?

Im sure each cable cant be misfitted and they only fit on one arm or the other. Did say it would be the cables from the start

If the bite point is low you need to adjust the rod length on the master cylinder, undo the lock nut and wind the push rod out of the square end that fits to the pedal,

Not to much though, be sure there is enough thread left in the end

The bite point is very low and I feel there is slack in the pedal Before I actual feel the clutch.
In running a dc5 oem shifter and cables. The cables feel that the have been squashed and they have no movement. They go over the subframe and somehow find there way to the gearbox

It will deffo be a clutch related issue mate, it isn't a after market clutch by any chance is it? a paddle one or something? Some of them are a real pain to get to clear and when your trying to get it in gear it heats the clutch up which then expands and makes it even worse.

I ran a competition stage 4 clutch and had no end of issues with it in a EP3. There isn't much room for adjustment on them really in the EP3, heard of people using washers etc to space it out a bit to get the clearence they need.

Well I was told it has a exedy clutch In it. I'm worried that the pedal needs
Adjusting cause of having such a low biting point
