gday there

i've just fitted some used tein monoflex's to my ek9

weird thing is, the rears would knock when going over small and bumpy roads.

i jumped in my friends EK with new coilovers, and his does the same (usually the rear right where muffler is located)

i've checked to see if the muffler would hit the rear sway bar, but it clears it by heaps.

my coilovers also come with rear helper springs, and all 4 coilovers have pillow ball tops (no idea why, non adjustable tho)

any help would be awesome

thanks in advance

kenny

facing the same problem.. i hope someone will shed us some light

Few things to check would be your arb drop links

Check if exhaust is hitting off rear lca

I've currently got the same problem with my meister r's, I think it's the top front camber arms hitting the inside strut housing.

Try putting a little grease on the top mounts too :)

thanks for the replies guys

i removed the coilovers and install standard suspension back in

same still occurs (always thought the coilovers were bad, guess im wrong)

i checked the rear Sway bar endlinks, they seem solid and stiff

exhaust clears the body..
