cold air ducting

Who has some of this installed in their car?? I was thinking of buying somethig like this: CAR AIR FILTER/INDUCTION KIT COLD AIR PIPE 45MMX2.75M on eBay (end time 26-Jul-10 20:13:35 BST)

to direct cold air to my short ram intake??


If anybody has done similar already please post pictures of you engine bay so I can see

Also I'm unsure of what width of tube to buy and what length I would need. Should I have multiple ducts or just one?

You can use that pipe, but you should check out this thread first to get a better idea and decide what option is best for your setup.

Nice thread, thanks. But I Was wondering where you be the best plac to duct the cold air to if I am using a cone shaped filter (K&N short ram) ... directly towards the center hole of the cone? Or should I have multiple ducts with one towards the center and maybe one towards the side?

Better to direct it towards wither side of a cone filter i would imagine?
