custom exhausts

hi guys what are your opinons on custom exhausts.im after something with a slight upwards tilt a bit like the hks silent.but i cant find any hks's for the ek9 so i was wandering if i should go down the custom route.i want it to be fairly quiet but with a nice deep tone.is there any good fabricators in central scotland

Alrite bud aint to sure how they go on EK9s , if thats what you drive but you probly looking at 2.5" system .

I got my exhaust done at complete auto solutions in Shotts ( 01501 829444 ) . Mine was a 3" straight through short can with a slight kick up and that cost me £350 . Might be a bit more if you get a centre silencer in it . But decent guys and good job

No bother mate , good quality . Am a couple of thousand mile away from my car or i would have took a pic for you mate Lol . Cant find any good ones on my laptop.

Mines is loud but bare in mine mines is a 3" straight through off my turbo and only a back box . You can get them to sound almost anyway you want but it can effect the gas flow . Best to give them a shout and tell them what your after and they see what they can do for you

sound.whats your opinon on them performance wise.im not looking for massive gains but i dont want to strangle the engine.

By going for 2.5" you would strangle it , it will be slighty bigger bore that standard so your creating more space for the exiting gases . Most of the after maker systems are 2.5".
Pretty sure the a few people on here with customs systems on here hopefully they'd be able to shed a bit more light on the preformance
