Cutting keys

For what it's worth it looks to have a similar profile to the '9's key. I'm sure an expert will be along shortly to say one way or t'other though.

Honda Blank Key around £9 + vat
Part number: 35113-SH3-013
My local Honda didn't cut the key for me so I took it to a key cutting shop and I was charged around £3.

In total it cost less than that ebay link you sent me.

The Key would be an EK9 OEM key like the ones here:
http://www.ek9.org/forum/interior-exterior/3753-pic-request-oem-ek9-key.html#post39468

I hope this helps.

***EDIT***
I have just taken a look at my EJ9 and EK9 key. My EJ9 key is slightly thicker but I don't think it makes much off a difference.

Also:

EJ9 - 4.55cm long from the blade not the plastic bit
EK9 - 4.2cm long from the blade not the plastic bit

Do you think the UK dom market keys like for the EJ9 would work on an EK9? I like those keys more. The EK9 JDM OEM ones are so small and skinny.

I just bought two oem ek9 keys from simauto on here sure it was £14 for two keys delivered and then took them to a local key cutters and it took them two attempts to get them cut down enough to let them work jobs a good un two new keys :)

I am not 100% sure, I think it might but if it doesn't its not my fault :p

I would personally go for an OEM EK9 key for peace of mind.

i think they are the same so there should't be a problem
