Spotted a really smart EK9 (not an expert so may have been a replica) in Walsall this afternoon.
Looked to be running race base wheels, may have even been a race base. Pre facelift front bumper. Looks extremely clean, no horrible modifications or stickers.
I sold my lovely 106 GTi a year or so ago now so am still considering my next proper car. Being sensible have set my eyes on a 172 Cup, but after seeing this car today I cant help but feel the EK9 is a much more respectable option.
Anyway back on topic. Really nice car.
