I haven't heard of it either, but I don't like the look of it. It looks like the carbon box is just some chamber to modify air flow like on the arc power chamber, so that would suggest the filter is way down in the fender well. This is good for cold air induction, but with such a long tube going to the filter, along with the fact that that tube has many restrictive crinkle bends in it would mean this this intake will not be very responsive.
Good intake velocity and good response is something you want, but something this intake probably doesnt have.
You're much better off with a short ram intake with a large cold air induction pipe going to it, such as the mugen or the comptech intake. Or a cold air induction tube on a modified stock air box.
As for reliability, thats not so much a problem with intakes as they are such simple devices that carry no load.
