quick question, i know the forks on the rear shock of a dc2 dont fit ek, maybe with some washers, but ive heard that if you have got aftermarket lca's the rear forks difference doesnt matter therefore, if ive got skunk2 lca's will the dc2 rear shocks fit any ideas?

No.

To fit dc2 shocks on an ek you need either OEM DC2 lca's.

Or. DC2 specific aftermarket LCA's

brilliant thanks a lot lads very helpful, so in short if i scrap the sk2 lcas and buy oem itr lcas they will be direct fitment on my ek which means ill be able to fit the coilovers?

The OEM ITR one's won't work, there either too long or too short, can't remember. The one's I posted are the one's needed here, there specifically designed so that an EK (Fork type) can run ITR/Import EG eyelet fitment.

UK Spec EG's are fork type, whilst the imports are eyelet (same as ITR). But the ITR/Import EG LCA's can be installed on a UK Spec EG as the basic length is the same.

As you notice LCA's are sold 1992-1995 Civic and 1996-2000 Civic.

The washers your on about in the OP are to install EG UK Spec rear coilovers on an EK as the EG fork is a fraction wider than EK, Hence the need of washers to fill the gap.

spot on brilliant thanks kipper, its oem ek9 suspension all the way then
