I have read that they work as well, but have yet to try the swap myself. I heard the right fits on the left side and vice versa which locates the bleeder nipple upside down ( pain in the butt to bleed the air out). But as far as stopping power, I would assume that it would be very similar to a DC2/EK9 Type R rear rotor set up- However I am unsure of the outer diameter of the R's rear rotors.
With out a bigger front brake set up (like a Type R) I would guess that it would be easier for the rear of the car to get tail happy at hywy speeds under heavy braking, which could be fun and dangerous all at the same time. But its on the dream list of mods to do to my hatch.
