Hi guys.

This is a little bit of a double thread as it's my new user thread and also I'm wanting to swap my DC5 for an EK9 which I will get onto. So my name is Lewis, the DC5 is the first Honda I've owned but I've always had a passion for them. I bought this car just before I turned 20 after owning a 1.2 8v Renault Clio for about 6 months. It's come to that time for me now where I think it's time for something a little bit different, I've had this car for 3 years and I'm loosing motivation with it. I use it daily to get to work which doesn't do my bank account any favours and would like something I can have as a weekend/summer car that will actually fit inside my garage next to my wife's drum kit and other clutter. :)

So here's the spec!

Pre-facelift Integra Type-R 2001
Championship white with red interior
The car was imported back in 2004
HPI clear
Milage is currently around 114,400 IIRC.
The last MOT was in October which is passed with only one advisory which was the rear anti-roll bar bushes, since replaced with Polybush.
Sigma immobiliser.
2 keys.

Engine and gearbox.
Password JDM battery tie
Recently had fuel filter, oil, filter and spark plug change, using NRK spark plugs, HAMP shortie filter and Millers Nanodrive 5-40w. I do a lot of this stuff myself but keep all receipts for parts.
The engine had the chain done at 86k, major service of all fluids, air conditioning regressed etc. All the work was carried out at TGM.
The gearbox is standard, no final drive, carbon synchros etc however there aren't any crunches. It's sometimes a little harder to get into gear when it's cold but that's to be expected.

Brakes.
I have the standard Brembo callipers which all work fine, they don't need repainting but the passenger side does need a new sticker on it as I think the B and R have peeled off, they're about £5 on eBay if you're fussy.
On the front I have M-tec grooved discs with DS2500 pads, great for road use.
On the rear the brakes are standard, Honda OEM discs with standard pads.
Lines I have are TGMs braided hoses with RBF600 fluid. I think they were all done at around 90k.

Wheels and tyres
The car currently has Enkei RFP1 wheels in black with Goodyear Asymmetrical 2 tyres on, all the tyres are good and not needing to be replaced anytime soon. The wheels are 9/10 condition there's a couple of very small curb marks on the front wheels, could be solved with a touch up pen. Ideally swapping for a EK9 I would like to take these wheels off and put my wife's spare EP3 wheels on however it depends on the car I am offered.

Suspension
The car has Eibach pro street coilovers, Eibach camber arms, Eibach camber bolts and a geometry set up by TGM. I believe these were fitted at around 90k, I can double check if needs be. All this alone cost around £1,500.

Paint and bodywork.

The paint work, the car had a full front end respray in April 2015 however having lived in Scotland for 6 months the front lip has stone chips, the bumper isn't bad nor is the bonnet. At the same time I had the front end respray I had a genuine Mugen lip sourced by Injection Imports fitted. Also the screw in fog light was ripped out and I had the reverse light of the passenger side changed into a fog light, this was the rear end looks a lot cleaner.

Around 1 month ago I had the drivers side rear arch rebuilt due to rust bubbles, the passenger side does need doing also.

The car is currently waiting to go into the body shop as soon as my insurance pays out (should be finished before the end of the month). My neighbour opposite hit my drivers door and wing mirror, no other damage to the car and I have extensive photos to show the damage that was caused. I bought a new door from Integrastella, a new mirror and brand new window deflectors from Honda (£165)! As previously said I am waiting for insurance to pay the £780 the body shop wants, the work that will be carried out is a complete respray of that side of the car so the colour match is spot on.

Exhaust.
The manifold is standard. Yesterday I purchased a Skunk2 Megapower R 70mm cat-back from Tegiwa as I have just sold my Fujitsubo RM01A, so the car will come with a brand new exhaust.

Interior.
The car has Hertz speakers front and rear costing over £300 at Source Sounds in Sheffield, a Pioneer double din stereo, the bolsters on the Recaros are in 8/10 condition, there is slight sag on the outers (I can provide photos no problem if wished). The floor mats and carpets are in great condition. I have added the parcel shelf to the boot since I bought it. All the interior lights i.e roof, boot etc have all been changed to LED bulbs, as has the number plate.

Others.
Private plate T15 YPR will come with the car.
I really don’t think I have missed anything with this but don’t hesitate to ask any questions about it.
Want to swap for a facelift EK9 in championship white with red or black interior. I would also consider black with black or red interior, show me what you guys have.

I don’t want anything that has rear arch issues or any corrosion. Nothing more than 110k miles and nothing that burns oil, looking for a clean honest car that wants to swap for something a little different.

If you want to give me a call or text my number is 07850115392 (I also have whatsapp). Thanks for looking.

I would of been bang on this if I still had my ek9 but went fn2 then dc5. GLWS
