hey guys, ive just fitted a tegiwa de cat, ive noticed that on anything other than idle i can hear that the exhaust sounds more tinny and almost rattley, its not blowing, is it normal for a de cat?

For a none resonated de-cat yes that is normal!

well i was lucky enough to get an ek4 already fitted with a tanabe hyper m, and 4-2-1 mani, but with the de cat on now its got exactly the right tone i was after i mean i know my way around a car, i just wanted a seasoned opinion from somebody on here

Also to note the adjustable decats have more of the rattle tone you describe. Baffled decats or standard decats are much better imo.

i found this also wen i fitted mine , you do get used to the sound change tho
