Cheers, matt

The solus is only a diagnostic scanner , you cant use it to change maps!? Dont think it has a scope on it either.

Its been a while since I used a solus but I dont think they do a 2-pin adaptor for Hondas IIRC .

Edit: Just googling that adaptor , looks like it is a Honda 2pin type.

Remember if you buy it , you will only be able to read engine codes and erase them , nothing more.

i know its a bit pikey, but if you put a paperclip in the 2 pin socket and turn the ignition on the engine check light will flash a sequence, long flash is 10 and short flash is 1. then look up the codes.

EXAMPLE NOT REAL CODE!

so if you get 3 long flashes and 6 short its check code 36 IACV Fault.

clean the sensor/valve out and leave the negative off the battery for 30 mins and it will reset the ecu.

then if your problem is solved the light wont come on again.

the paperclip allthough very ghetto is alot cheaper than a obd reader or taking it to a garage.

Hondata S300 is the way ahead:win:
