Hi all,

Basically bought a set of what I thought was 4 rota slips all 6.5j wide, but turns out one is 7j wide. After speaking to someone at rotashop.co.uk the 15x6.5j wide is now discontinued and they can't get it anymore.

I've found a place in US that sells the 6.5j wide ones, but before I go for that I thought I would ask:

If I bought another 7j wide one from rotashop and then had either two 7j wide on the back and the 6.5j on the front (or other way round) would it affect handling? Any negatives from doing this? Would save getting one all the way from america. All four wheels would have same size tyres on them.

Cheers,

Laith

Cheers for the reply!

Is there a reason why you would put the wider wheels on the front? All would have same tyre size so contact patch with the Tarmac would all be the same I presume?

If your going Into fine details and the physics of it then it will effect the handling, but honestly, your not going to notice.

I've got 2 7j and 2 6.5j on my track car, haven't noticed any adverse effects. Not done many laps though lol
