Just got off the phone to 'mintbitz' regarding a set of brake disks for my ek9...

Civic Type-R 1.6 Vtec EK9 8/97-01 Front Brake Discs on eBay (end time 30-Mar-10 17:16:10 BST)

Why do these companies insist that an EK9 has 4 stud fitment when they have five stud fitment lol... I even said to the lady that my EK9 is sat on the drive and it definately has a 5 stud fitment and she insisted it had 4 stud lol Argh!!! Rant over lol

I'd be getting discs elsewhere if there insisting it's 4 stud, they'll end up sending ek4 discs

I've been looking at those discs from Mintbitz as my friend has the fronts on his 98UKDM DC2 from there, and they seem really good. I too noticed the same problem with the EK9 brakes, so i ordered the DC2 ones instead.

Well i've got some from somewhere else now... can't say l was too impressed that she was arguing with me ( well arguing is a bit harsh but dis-agreeing ) when l know damn well they are 5 stud lol... oh well... Bought some now so that's one less thing off my list to do!
