Do facelift ek9 rear lights have JDM light conversion as standard?

^^ as above, i want to buy facelift ek9 rear lights for my ej9 but don't know if they come with the JDM light conversion as standard?

eh? They are JDM.... the clues in the name! (i'm assuming your on about them lighting up top and bottom?)

yes i want to know if i buy facelift ek9 rear lights and put them on my facelift ej9 then will the top and bottom light up?

yes it will. ek9 rear lights have holes at the top and bottom already so no need for drilling. if mot comes, just put your original wiring loom back on for the foglights

The JDM lights require a harness deigned for top & bottom lighting. The ej9 harness is only top lighting. So even if the JDM lights came with wiring, it STILL requires MODIFICATION of the ej9 harness.

Please note CONVERSION involves modification of YOUR vehicle to accept a non-original part except where the part is 'plug & play'.

What do you mean by this? If you fit ek9 rear lights with the wiring on the back of them and plug them into any other ek hatch they will work just the same as the ek9 no modification needed

Yep. I had ek9 rear light holders and wires and it was a direct fit into my ek3

Yes i put them in my vti, no modifications needed. just connect the plug and your away. Just switched the drivers side one at mot time so i could use the fog switch!
