It will make a difference IF your car is tuned for it. A Fiat Panda is not tuned for 98 or 100 so you won't really notice the difference, but an EK9 or DC2 for that matter....you could tune a DC2 for 95 and then you wouldn't notice a difference between 95 and 98 or 100. But when you tune it for 100 you will notice the difference.
Your comparisons about power are not totally fair Let me just comment. Will affect your torque more than anything and b-series do lack it..... I use silkoline/FUCHS octain booster it makes a difference........ â¬12 per L, Ireland gets the worst petrol of any country id say the uk isnt far off.....
Yes but that is not because of the fuel directly, the petrol map is much more agressive on the JDM car. So the fuel mostly facilitates in this case. Also, the JDM DC2 has a 65mm collector, the European 51mm.look at the power ratings from factory in japan ie, DC2 JDM is 198bhp where as DC2 UK spec is 189bhp......
Same as above about the more agressive mapping PLUS the JDM D15B has 3 stage VTEC; it has an economical profile, normal profile and an agressive profile, while the European EK3 only has the normal and economical profile.or EG, SOHC 1.5 JDM 130bhp and uk is 115bhp
