Double valve springs

I have had but b16a2 head port and polished im going to be fitting ek9 cams, im about to buy supertec double valve springs what i need to know is can i use my standard retainers with them without any problems?
any help will be sound.

You can depending on what your rev limit will be?

9000 - 9200

There's no point having your rev limit set that high, you won't be making much power with those cams past 8400. You would need stage 2 cams and corresponding bottom end internal work to make power at those heights.

The answer to your question is you would need updated Ti retainers.

I'd suggest looking at the Skunk2 Alpha Valve spring and retainer package

It's great value and will be perfect with EK9 cams
