Dropping out of vtec under hard cornering

Cars done this a few times, initially I thought it was as she was very low on fuel but had it another rally since with half a tank and its still cutting out. Once the lean is of it vtec comes back 'on.' Car is dead on for oil. Anyone any ideas? Bit of a head scratcher!

are you running a baffle oil pan of any kind?

Im a fan of the trap doors as well as the baffles

Thanks for the reply tama that makes perfect sense. I'm just running the standard sump, so I guess I know what my next purchase will have to be!

Hey, some have simple welded in a baffle, this is the low cost solution and I have heard that it works. I think Tegiwa has them.

Defo need a baffled sump.
Cheap if you get the weld in job, but obviously moroso is the daddy.

Ive used the moroso pan in two different cars, very nice bolt in solution.
Even with race tires and down force during long sweeping turns absolutely no drop in pressure.

on hard cornering ur vtec goes off? maybe check ur oil levels sometimes if it is lower than full u have this problem ! especially when the engine on high rpm needs to press the oil everywhere to go smooth it causes this problem!
