hi, guys before i pull my hair out and go bald help us out,
i will soon be buying an MB6 and using as a donar for my EK3 but im puzzled with the ecu and loom set up. this is what i know so far:
My ek3 has a odb2a loom as its a preface lift
1. i will need a p20/30/72/73 ECU with a conversion harnes odb2a to obd1
2. EK4 loom odb2a or extend vtec wires from my ek3 loom
but my question is i will be buying a p72 ecu (wich is not chiped or socketed) with the harness IS IT TRUE THAT I WILL NOT NEED TO FIDDLE WITH THE ECU FOR EXAMPLE BRIDGING PINS AND SLICING WIRES, just engine in loom on ecu pluged in and car will fire up.
p.s. i have looked around and its quiet a few mixed answers.
