ecu question

hi im new to the site and im looking to get an ek9 pretty soon. i phoned up honda to see about parts and they said that they could get most of them.

but they also said that they would not be able to connect it up to the computer. if i did have a problem is this area what could i do? is there anywhere i could take it and what sort of costs am i looking at?

What do you mean? that your honda could not be connected to a diagnostic computer?

If they can't do it, you can find error codes on the internet and get it for yourself. If you don't do any crazy modifications to your car, I think you will not need to get error codes.

The most common error code you can get is the O2 Sensor, or knock sensor error, which is very easy to fix, please give me more details so I can help you further.
