Eg coilovers on EK urgent!

Hi im about to go pick up some Tein HA coilovers off a friends EG6 just wondering if they would fit straight onto a EK9? Or would it need mods?

no they wont fit eg and dc2 are the same but not in eks

I've read that the only diff is the ek9 lca is thinner than the eg and u can spacers/washers to fix?

nope, sorry man they wont fit. EK9s us a fork type fitment on the lca's that go over and around the lca and then bolt into the bush thats already there. EGs and dc2 have a a mount that goes inside the lca.

They wont fit.

Cheers mate, just looked at the coilovers and ur right they dnt have the two fork that slot over the lca.. They have like a eye which I'm guessing like u said slot down into the lca then bolt through both?

Can't you just swap your LCA's for a set of dc2/eg ones?

I believe the lcas on a ek9 and a dc2 are different length, not sure if that's correct

here you can see the diferences the integra pic show as well the lca ,totaly diferent shape with yours.
