I've had her for a few years now. At the moment I'm swapping in a B16A, together with 282mm brake setup, VTI strutbar, VTI lip.

Only exterior mods are lowering on Weitec coilovers, no more orange in my rear lights and the white Enkei's. Never seen those on a Civic before and still haven't till this day!

Mooooooh

Got a CAI, 4-2-1 mani, decat and 2,5" catback. Way too much noise but that will disappear with my new exhaust system.

Rust :( On both sides btw

Had this removed last year. There was almost no rust when I bought the car, but when I had it fixed it became apparent why it rusted so much: they had just put filler over the rust and sprayed it. Costed me quite some money, but hey, life's a bitch and then you die so enjoy while you can. Of course this will also help greatly when selling the car. Try to find a rust free EG ;)

Also installed a short shifter, black Type R style knob and PU bushings, to replace the ugly chrome knob that came with it. With the new engine, there's a DC2 shifter on it.

Black = open
Red = with silencer
Green = with stock cat, no silencer

Few months ago my clutch or something attached to it decided to fail, as did both my cv joints. I decided not to fix them and swap to a B16A or A2. I found an A. Here it is:

Had to clean the whole engine...the seller did not secure the valve cover so a big part of the engine was covered in oil. Including the intake manifold, it was really dirty. I took it off to clean. Before:

Not perfect but still way better.

Brake cleaner ftw

I decided to clean and paint the engine mounts.

Look at the dirt that came out of the cooling system...

Why did my joint die on me...no idea...

This is a very hand method of getting your ball joint loose. Get your wheel etc off and the joint nut. Jack up your brake disc. Put something in between your ball joint/LCA and hub, like on the picture that barely fits, as to realise maximum pressure. Then lower the jack. Had to do it a few times and then *BANG* off came the joint.

In between bought a new alu low profile jack that DOES work instead of the old bitch that doesn't go high enough.

Need to make custom radiator hose y0

I HATE working under my car, I feel like I could get crushed every moment. So I put everything I have under my car for fitting my gear linkage and exhaust to mani :p

At this moment I only need to do the following:
- Having put new cv joint covers on the axles
- Put axles on car
- Fill gearbox with oil
- Fill engine with coolant and flush it and then fill it again
- Connect 2 hoses
- Put intake on it
- Change ECU

And that should be it. But that will be done on monday, tommorow I'm going to me gf till sunday evening or monday. Stay tuned!

Nice work JT, You will have fun with the b series in there now:nice:

That looks really smart
always wanted a black EG

Tnx :D

This is what she's looking like now...wanted to start the car, but petrol squirted out of my 3rd injector! Think I need new gaskets. Shite, hoped to start her today. Ah well, at least my garage is organised now :p

Nice mate

Why do you have MAZDA Centre-Caps on your wheels?
Uhm...these wheels come from an MX5...and to be honest I can't be bothered to order silver ones and spray them  Can't find blank, Enkei or Honda white ones.

IT'S ALIVE!!!!!!!!! YEAH BITCHES!!!!!

YouTube - B16A Swap...first (second) start!

This was my first recorded start, the first real start after the swap was an immediate succes. It ran within 3 seconds. The reason it doesn't run immediately here is probably a mass problem that is causing the PGMFI relay to trip. W00h00!!!!
