is it a big job to do this
i know the b18c drops right in
any one try it before prices is it worth it ect.:nice:
Thanks

been in a k24 eg man and yes defo worth it :D

the b18 swap will be a sweet option as well though

I was seriously thinking about getting this done to an EK9. I had a passenger ride in a K20 EG and it felt really fast, but then I had my dad drive my own B16b EK9 on the same roads about 10 minutes later to compare and, though there was a noticeable difference from around 3rd gear upwards, I decided it wasn't enough to warrant the money at the time.

I'm waiting to see how Haitch on this forum rates the K-swap for trackday use and then go from there. I've seen EG K20's going for £6,000'ish pounds which is very little money considering the work and cost of parts, but I don't see them come up for sale often.

id suppose it would cost a good few pound compared to putting in the b18c
would be interesting to find out what the whole job would cost

just priced icetronix in dublin its 6500 for the k20 conversion its alot compared to around 2k for b18c

I would have thought, at that price, it's a K20a2 without LSD etc, with a very basic list of parts.

Icetronix is ridiculously expensive when it comes to that....you could pick up a k20 engine and gearbox and all for alot less than that price!!

In Britain it would work out as £3,000'ish for a good K20a engine with LSD (no point in spending the money on a K-swap without LSD imo), £3,000'ish for all the K-swap parts and then labour on top if you can't do it yourself.
