Surely this cannot be right for removing the cassette to fit my head unit???

How to remove it:

1. remove the plastic pannel by your knee's. This will reveal 2 screws on the left, remove them

2. Open the glove box (make sure its empty) push the sides in the left it drop down all the way. Now undo the 2 screws on the right of the glove box.

3. Take out the ciggy lighter, above it (you can see it unless you put your hand just above the ciggy lighter) there is a screw. Remove it

4. Open the ash tray, there is a screw in the top of the ash tray.

5. Remove the lower part of the dash remembering to unplug the loom from the lighter

6. pop the car into 4th gear and put your hand up into the dash. You will feel the back of the headunit. It is held in by 3 screws, remove them (be careful not to drop them - you wont see them again!) and push the unit out from behind

7. Take the oem cage off and put it on your new head unit. Wire it up and put everything back together

:nerv::shocked:

Unfortunately that is the way to remove the standard head unit, pain in the arse to be honest lol.
Took me ages to figure this out the first time I had to do it.
