ej6 red master key???

ok bought an ej6 an it came with a red master key, what are these for?

I think the red key is for when you lose your key, that is the back up key to use to start the car, and it also means that if you found your original key, you can use it, as it's been reset by the red master key.

how dose the car start? its a key fob with a button and an led? dont get it atall

Is the fob Seperate from the red master key?
The fob should be the alarm system which you'd need to press to unlock and lock the car?

Thought it was just service key, didn't think it was coded to imobiliser. Please enlighten, I don't have the red key is available to buy a new one?
