Hey guys just new on this
But here's my first build thread on this site

*car -1996 pre facelift Honda civic Ej9
*uk Spec frost White NH583 for anyone looking for colour code
So I set about looking for a shell and a good mate popped up with one it was already a civic type r rep with the front splitter and back splitter car also had rear wiper delete to save weight .
When I got the car it had different colour wing ,no window regulator ,the fuses were all gone ,had a d14 engine in with no gearbox and lots missing this wasn't a problem cuz engine was no use to me
And it had an sir spoiler
So I the set about getting parts and pieces for a conversion first I got was a b series engine I hate single over-head cams they just look wrong to me

*B18C6* English spec engine had anclieries but no intake or exhaust manifold but came with wiring loom and Also gearbox Price was 1200 euros but I didn't mind .
Engine had transparent red dizzy cover
Ngk leads and originally a skunk2 inlet that the guy didn't include in
So I had to get parts like inlet mani exhaust mani tb and other stuff

* first day of work brought the car to the garage I share with my freind currently building his b16a turbo coupe ,took the d14 engine out and called it a day
Few weeks later as am a lazy ass set out to getting parts I need such as intake Mani ,driveshaft ,bigger brake and stuff
So got this
*b16a intake mani and throttle body which I think is giving me my trouble .
*japspeed 4-2-1 exhaust mani
*simota racing induction kit
*buddyclub short ,shifter
* oem civic type r exhaust midsection to backbox
*mugen oilcap
*apexi afc neo
*ignition barrel and door locks car never had none
Immobiliser and key
*skunk2 decat
*window regulator
*CTR front Recaro
*CTR rear seat
*CTR Spoiler
*CTR Grill
*Momo Hub And Steering wheel
*fuses ,ngk spark plug
*blueprint oilfilter
*New oil for engine ,I never run my new engine without this service parts
*Gearlinkage
*new wiring loom as my mate robbed mine
*Goodridge Brakeline
*Ek4 Rear engine mount
*injectors rails

Well After a while of getting sick over Christmas with the flu I managed to drop the engine in and stuff first time I tried ticking her over she was getting fuel But no spark we decided call it a day and see what the problem was being lazy I never showed up at the garage but researched my problem and found out my ignition coil fuse was missing thanks to who I bought the car off ,next day I got to the garage replaced most of the fuse and she came to life but she was revving over 7000rpm and over Vtec range and I knocked it off quick because I didn't want to blow the engine up I worked a lot of hours and hard to get this
My freind a Vtec guy then asked me did I tighten up the intake manifold screw me being me I said of course I did he then checked to find bottom holes not properly tightened and he slagged me off for it .well I tightened the screw we called it a day and hoped for the best .next day we started her up and she was ticking over at 2500 which was still high but never the less better ,he then blocked one of the holes of and it went down to 1000rpm

Now my problem is
The engine is gone back to 1500 I have a b16 mani which has some kinda valve stuff on the bottom of the throttle body I think water or coolant is meant to go through it .can that be why am revving at 1500 I should be at 800 on idle ,or could it be because I have no lambda plugged in ?

Solution I know is that
I have a CTR intake mani and lambda but its far away from where I am and the headache of taking the manifold off cleaning the new one down and putting it back on should I do that or maybe check my thermostat and also plug my radiator plumbing which I never did when I started her mind me .If someone knows what to do can they please let me know not much of a Honda tech

*things left to do on the car is
* get bonnet lock and for it
Respraying wing(in process of right now)
Respraying front bumper
Bleed Brakes (giving me a hassle worked before and now can't get fluid to come out of pipe and it's well topped up)
Finish my interior
Do CTR back seat (have an headache it just doesn't sit on a ej9 with the holes has anyone ideas
Get my lighting sorted and side skirt on and rad pipe after this my car will be out

Yeah thanks mate she's coming along well but I had better plans for her but money is tight as of now and already put a few grand into it and if she was running okay rev wise at 800rpm I'll be happy brah.any help welcome and cheers fOr the comment .

I sent a photobucket and it ain't showing I don't know what else to do and am not linking anyone to my Facebook page..I don't know how to upload pics on this it's very confusing ..When I understand how to properly I'll get them up.or can u teach me step by step instruction cuz I just don't understand it..
