Hi, I have agreed to buy a EK4. It needs a bit of work but thats what im wanting :)

My question is, what is the difference between a standard EK4 bonnet and a OEM style bonnet ?

Thanks, please dont hate just asking for an answer :nice:

Fitment will be better on an OEM bonnet. An OEM style bonnet is a cheaper alternative but the fitment may not be so good.

my oem style carbon bonnet fitted just as good as the oem one was from a good make tho

I Have Genuine Honda Bonnet and Front and rear Bumpers, also both front wings. Pm me if you need any parts.

I have a bonnet for 99-00

What year is your car on?

96-98 or 99-00?

My car is a 1997, is there any style difference between standard EK4 bonnet and a OEM bonnet ?

Thanks :thanks:

Is there a difference between a EK4 bonnet and a EK9 bonnet ?, as im thinking of getting EK9 bumpers and spoiler

Thanks

just make sure you the right bonnet as the 99-00 is different if i remember right

EK4 is OEM. All bonnets are the same from Honda except you have pre-facelift and facelift. Yours is a pre-facelift.

OEM factory bonnet for EK4 or EK9 is exactly the same with the exception of 2-pin holes for the badge on EK9, but please make sure the year is correct like many have pointed out.

Most aftermarket bonnets have fitment issues, and IMO the aftermarket bonnets don't even look the same in my eyes. If you get an entire front end of aftermarket parts, the car looks flat besides bad and crappy panel lines.

Usually you will notice a larger gap between bonnet and fenders especially on CF bonnet because of the materials it's made. It shrinks over time.
