hi all,

i introduced myself a couple of weeks ago, was asked to show my ride but i didn't had much time till now.. so i just thought i'd share with you guys..

so, long story short..
a few days after i bought it.. having a friend, a camera and too much time doing nothing in front of the pc.. multi-me lol there's one inside as well :bow:

i bought it with a really bad paintjob, so when i had a chance, i did some facelift and changed color to black..

i strongly advise you not doing this with your inside fan working. :angry2:

made 290hp @ 0,6 and i'm now somewhere near 350 @ 1,2

That's somepower increase! What's the spec?
Not a fan of bronze vti wheels though mabe White? Just my 2 pence :)
 
the engine was fully built for turbo
crank and rods oem bearings
golden eagle rods
cp pistons
oem gaskets
supertech valvetrain
b18c1 cams
adjustable cam pulleys
evo 8 turbo
etc..

as for the wheels, i really liked the ek4 wheels, so didn't want to change, i had them painted very dark grey and asked to put some gold pearl on the top, somehow the pearl ate the grey and this was how they looked after painting.. i thought they didn't looked bad at all.
i'm now thinking of changing the wheels to some 16".. haven't decided yet which ones..

You have done the conversion for 99-00 (facelift) right? The car really looks nice! :) Missing only the EK9 spoilers.

Keep going with that EK4!

did some facelift. i'm not really into the ek9 spoiler, though i really like the spoon one..

i'm running obd2a to obd1 harness and p30 with crome pro.
i know you'll probably think i'm crazy or something like that lol
but it's been working fine for about 10000km at 0,6bar and +6000km @1.2 and never had problems. haven't removed the lm-2 yet, maybe i'm somewhat afraid at WOT on crome or looking for some excuse to go s300 or something else.

Are you get bored with your NA vtec engine character, or get bored of your friends cupras and opcs owners :blabla:about how fast are their turbo engines :blabla: saying that vtis are good but old and not so fast like ours:blabla: and you get:angry2:?
what about suspension and brake upgrates?
 
something like that :D i smoked a friend's evo6 with goodies last saturday :D he says hes into 350hp range

suspension is koni sport and eibach springs, i like that setup but i'm thinking on some coilover suspension.. haven't decided which yet..

as for the brakes..
i have legend calipers, they're 2mm larger each piston than nsx and tarox 280mm discs with ferodo pads.. i love how they look inside 15"..

I think if you go from NA to turbo you'll never got satisfied with the hp power. You're gone need more and more, this thing never ends its like drugs! I think you'll find the proper and healthy setup for your car (for everyday use) on about 300 bhp, except if you want it only for drag racing.
Anyway, evo driver must have cried a lot that day you smoked him!:drive:
 
that's completely true. i had made an experience on the stock engine, i added turbo without changes on the engine, completely stock, apart from turbo intercooler and things like that. i immediately thought "holy hsit" :wow: i have to build an engine for turbo!! :D i was making about 200~220hp, but just to think it could be really faster, i didn't think twice! i started slowly buying needed parts and build another one. but it's also true that for a daily driver it's too much, you can't rev a gear without spinning tires, goes like this:

and making lot's of noise.. the evo guy is a friend of mine, he didnt cried, and also didn't want' to say but i think he regreted selling is eg6.. :) he had plans for turbo as well..
