EK9 3rd gear grind help!!

3 gear is grinding,now what?blown syncros?no oil? What oil is recomended for these trannis?

You could change the gear oil see if it stops any crunches etc. Genuine honda mtf is what i would reccomend. If that doesnt help then its prob the synchros buddy.

mtf honda oil. mine has the same problem 2nd to 3rd. i put thicker oil in the gearbox
10w-40w but made no diffrance.

2nd-3rd gear synchros, its the first sign of mechanical age of b-series Honda's. Id be surprised if changing the gearbox oil will rectify this, but you could always try some fresh Honda/Land Rover MTF.
