EK9 climate control lights Not working

Hi all,

My climate control lights haven't been working for some time now so I thought I'd do something about them. This includes all the dial knobs and the 3 buttons (defrost,ac,recirculate), none of these light up when I turn on the parker lights. The only one that works is the hazard switch.

Has anyone replaced these themselves, if so what size bulb do they take and what colour are they originally? I can't remember if they were more of a white or amber.

I was and still kinda am in the same shoes as you. The dials on mine stopped lighting up so I bought another one and replaced it and still the same, but it's lit up again. I have the spare one in my garage and can check the bulb size for you. I bought some from eBay before. It's a white light but the OEM bulb has like an orange cover (condom like) which makes it amber. Not sure about the defrost buttons etc though.

They are supposedly Neo Wedge bulbs from what I've read online. There should be 2 bulbs for the buttons and another 2 bulbs for the dials. If you could measure the size of the base that would be awesome. On eBay they're sold as T4=10mm base, T5=12mm base

If you could also measure the height that would really help. I'm looking at buying these LEDs on ebay which are 19mm tall but worried they might be too long (these are for the AC/defrost buttons)

I had the same problem. Honda couldn't find them so in the end I bought some T4 (I think) bulbs with a smaller base and swapped the bulbs to the original base. I've got some spare bulbs here if you want to do it that way. The brightness and colour are the same as the OEM bulbs.
