I want to fit EK9 headlights into a EK4 (LHD) but the question is should I have any issue because the EK9 headlights is made for RHD cars.

I'm asking this because of light projection?

Thanks

I don't know how true this is but i have "heard" that they will blind on comming traffic for a few reasons, one is that they are designed to show less light on driverside in japan which will be opposite and show more light if your country drives on the other side of the street, also they do not have the diffusers built in. Once again this is all hearsay i have no personal experience on this.

there is manual adjustment on the ek9 headlights but might
not be enough adjustment to allow for l/h drive :)

should be few US members on here to comfirm if they have "blinded"
any oncoming traffic with these headlights fitted :secret:

there will be no adjustment to go from r to l hand drive, know this from mot beam setters.

the headlights will be different, they are designed so that more light is shone on to the kerb obviousy you drive on the right side of the road rather than the left so the kerb will be on the right so your passenger healight will have an incline in the pattern on the right headlight it looks a little somehting like this

you can get sick on things to chnge the direction of the beam

...unless you can retrofit your reflectors into them. ;)

possible solution.

or paint black the ek4 headlights inner housing o eliminate the chrome. Hard bit is taking the headlight apart... where u will need to heat to soften the adesive!
