Hi to all!

EK9 have been in discussion with ourselves about an insurance scheme for members.

We are glad to say that we have signed the deal so I'd just like to introduce myself & our company!

Chris Knott Insurance - chrisknott.co.uk - have been involved with car clubs for over 20 years so hopefully we'll understand your needs & requirements!

The scheme starts for ages 22 and over for Comprehensive cover, & 19 and over for TPF&T cover. All drivers must have held a full UK licence for at least 1 year, and to insure a 'performance' car, there must be at least 1 years experience of driving that, or similar performance cars. Unfortunately, it excludes all M - Manchester, L - Liverpool, OL - Oldham & SK1-12 - Stockport postcodes and Northern Ireland.

I just got a new insurance from Chris Knott...dam would I have got more discount if I had use that code!!

Can I get the discount if I drive a 96 civic coupe with B16A engine....or is it exclusive for EK9s?
 
Hi, my renewal quote with sainsbury insurance was £400. Wot quote would give myself? I have been driving for 5 years. I have 4 years no claims, I am 24, I live in Scotland and I drive an R reg ek9 with mods.

Regarding the quote, could I ask you to ring the office please on 0800 917 2274 or 01580 752961 if calling from a mobile – Mon-Fri 9am till 5pm, Sat 9am till noon.
It’s just that I don’t actually do the quotes, as I spend a lot of my time travelling the country on business and work from home also.

I have my renewal due with my insurance company in a few weeks and i received my quote papers yesterday.

£795. im 22 ( 23 in december ) i will have 2 years no claims when i renew. a few mods on the car. i live in fife, scotland. been driving for 5 years.

definately!!!!!

had one accident and the assesor pointed out how lucky i was that i had declared everything as he said there are a huge ammount of payouts that dont go through due to people not insuring things right!

you think it would be a waste of time me getting a quote at 19? im on a WA post code if that would lower it at all
