im tryin to find insurance for a ek9 gna buy one soon....im already wiv bells and if i get ma insurance transfered to a ek9 it wont make a difference but they said its a 1.6 vtec r import is that the right thing

Mine was insured with Admiral as a Civic VTECH R (import)
Elephant also list it as this.
I rang and confirmed it.

Civic VTECH R
1.6 vtec r import

Neather of these are correct!
You drive a civic type r (import)! & that is what it should be insured as!

I have heard horror story's of insurance not paying out due to the wrong car on the insurance doc!

IMO- i would only insure with someone that list's my car correctly!

This has been covered on hear befor if you search!:nice:

Ive heard all this myself before.
i rang and checked and it was confirmed by the manager.
I had it all noted, but it was way cheaper than anyone else.

i recently got insurance for my EK9 and was told the complete opposite by a manager there. I was told that unless i was 100% sure it was that car then i shouldn't take a policy out with them. They couldn't guarantee it was the same car so i went elsewhere and found a cheaper quote...

I read that on here before.
I think its who you speak too on the day. Most havnt got a clue.
Still only £200 fully comp for me and the Wife, they can call it what the **** they want:)

i'm 21 with no ncb cos i was named driver and my old insurance company wouldn't insure a high risk unless your 25 vti civic ek4. so admiral got £750 out of me for a whole year. not too bad seeing as my other cheapest(lol) qoute was £1300
