EK9 Pre-facelift Headlights Query

Hi Guys,

Apologies if covered else where but I have searched this forum and google and cannot find the answer.

For EK9 pre-facelift headlights 96-98, was the part number for each headlight printed only on the box they came in, or was it on the actual headlights themselves.

They are no longer available since 2018. thats when i started working at honda parts and searched for them

thats why he is asking if the part # was written on the headlight ,i guess he found i used part to buy, as far as i know it was not written on the headlights only in the box.

i can double check my headlights on the weekend if there is any special numbers etc but thats only if i remember

I have baked open (fully dismantle) about 6 different authentic Honda pairs of pre-facelift EK headlights including real EK9 Type R ones too. I have NEVER been able to find the part number engraved ANYWHERE from the clear lens to the back of the plastic mirror domes to the inside of the gray housing... NOTHING. So in my opinion, it is definitely not on/in the headlights.

Thanks Michael and everyone else that commented, very much appreciated. The set I was looking at had side tabs which were glued on so they are not of interest to me.

The seller noted part numbers were only ever on the box, so thank you for confirming
