Ek9 s4c lsd geabox value?

Hi, iv got a s4c lsd gearbox in my eg6 turbo.
Crunches in 3rd, diff works well.
Just wanted to know what its worth and how much to advertise it for as im in need of a S9B.

Any help would be appreciated

£200? Mo u practically gave it away,or are u talking about you're stock eg6 box?
a stock ek9 box in good condition fetches about £350 but if it crunching then you will struggle unless someone is looking to build a spare box up, but then they want it cheap most likely
 
Balls thought he'd wrote ek4 box! Oops...

Yeah my 'sir' box with oem LSD sold for £200!

The last 4.4fd LSD box I sold, again crunchfree, went for £400!

I'd price this around the £300'ish mark!
 
Thanks for the info guys, im looking for a S9B box now, so soon as i find a one at a reasonable price close to me this'll be up for sale at £300. Thanks guys
 
Hi peeps, another question in regards to the gearbox.
My gearbox had brokedown on me and was stuck in neutral (luckily). Wouldnt select any gears, so we inspected it linkagez etc all fine so we took the box of opened it up and found that the gear selector had a piece broken of it and was stuck in a corner not allowing it to change gear. So we replaced the selector wirh one from a s9b box is built back up now, but im changing to a s9b, just wanted views and opinions if it'll be ok? We looked at the cogs etc all seemed fine as the broken piece didnt move around the box or touch anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It's a bit tricky to sell something if you don't know if it'll work or not.
 
I'd personally sell it as spares if you don't know that it'll be ok. Especially when they aren't cheap!
 
I'd either stick it on ebay, saying you're unsure of condition and just let it run if you want to get rid.....
