Hi all, im a new EK9 user, actually i bought mine this last monday, i'm form Lima, Peru, i was wondering if any of you has a electronic, printed or copied workshop, service or user manuals you can share with us, i cant wait to read it, besides all the great links and documentation you have available in the forum.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards

Enrique

I have one physically, can you read japanese?

hi, you can buy almost any workshop manual at faxon auto litarature, they sell them wordlwide, or there's also some examples on ebay for sale.. I'll need to buy one soon to, even if i don't understand any japanese. for mounting and dissassambly of parts (excepted the engine) there are a lot of english honda civic 6th gen related books you can buy cheap!!

Actually i can red and write (basic to intermediate) katakana and hiragana only, but most literature includes 90% of its writings in kanji... hmmm Faxon only has american/european car manual, any other suggestion?

Thank you very much in advance.

Enrique

I posted this in your I'm new thread.

The first link of the list should help you out, I know it did for me. Its not ek9 specific, but there are many similarites along the whole 6th gen. range, and the SI is similar mechanically/electrically, ect. to the ek9.

You will not find a service manual this detailed specifically for the ek9. Service manuals like this cover whole generations of cars. For things like interior and wiring on an ek hatch, look at the hatch specific parts of the manual. For engine and suspension look at the 99-00 parts of the manual, the si is mechanically and electrically to the ek9 except for a few choice things like smaller sway bars, different programmed ecu of course, smaller size injectors, no LSD, and brake size, and some engine internals but the service procedures are the same.
For some ek9 specific questions the information can be found elsewhere, like on this site.

Thanks a lot Dino-Spumoni, i did download the 96-00 civic manual, and quick check it, the first time you showed the url. I just wonder if anyone in the community does have the ek9 manual.

Thanks in advance.

Enrique

i bought an ek9 service manual off ebay and as dino said its not seecific to the ek9 but it covers the whole ek family! apart from this i thought the manual is very usefull and eas to understand!

Can you translate it for us? I would like to know this info for years!
It would help a lot in EK9 conversion! Thanks!!!!!

C'mon guys several of you have the printed manual, can't anyone scan it and share for all of us?

Thanks

From the above it looks like RVM has a physical manual; I've kept my eyes open for an electronic copy online for many years, but never found one. I've always assumed that because the EK9 was only ever sold new in Japan, that the manual itself is probably only available in Japanese.

So instead I work from two manuals that are readily available online - the 96-00 Civic manual for most things to do with the car except for the engine (B16B engine is not covered), and a 98-00 Integra manual for things engine related. Seems to cover everything I've needed.

I have friends that are jap translators, provide me with a copy and I will try and get her on it :)

How good friends? The standard EK Civic manual is over 1400 pages, as an indication of size.

Very good friends, it is her job she is a Translator for a CS department, I would swing her some pennys too ;)

She owes me and all lol

I'll upload the facelift japanese manual soon. :)

Took me around 4 hours to scan it.
