ek9 spoiler baseplate

right iv just bought ek9 spoiler for my ej9..just the spoiler and no baseplate and the spoiler has 2 holes where it should be attached to the baseplate iwas just wondering is it just a case of getting hold of a baseplate and mounting it onto my car?is there anything else im not realising that i hav to do?just looking for a bit of advice thanks
 
I would assume its just a case of getting a ek9 baseplate to fit the spoiler. It would be the same fitment for all ej/ek civics. :nice:
 
These can be pretty hard to get hold of as everyone wants to sell the spoiler complete with the base plate. Seeker do a base plate for their own spoilers for people who don't already have an ek9 base plate so you could use one of those.

I've got to agree, I was in a similar situation and couldn't find anyone selling the base plate separately. The plate should fit your car without problem. The Seeker base plate is available but is very expensive and the base plate copies i have seen have been shocking quality. If I were you I would buy a new spoiler and baseplate and either keep yours as a spare or try to sell it on.
