Ek9 Suspension

Just purchased some stock ek9 suspension. What i found with them is the coil spring has no tension and the spring moves up and down. I always thought the spring is always tensioned tight and can only be removed with a coil spring compressor.

Does something sound wrong with the suspension?

Had a look on google images for the stock ek9 suspension and noticed on alot of them they are marked with the colour blue, red green. Not sure now if this is genuine ek9 suspension

Your right there should be pre load on the springs, they look like they are yellow under the black?

Are you sure they are not cut?

If i scratch the spring it looks like its yellow underneath. At the bottom of the spring its cut straight but at the top its looks like a sharp cut in the middle of the spring. Looks like they could of been cut to lower the car but not fully sure. Heres a pic of that area. I could source some springs but not sure now if the shocks are genuine ek9 or that the shocks have a issue

In my opinion they were cut to lower the car.

Yeah they were cut. I returned them, Was not fully sure if the shockers were also genuine ek9
