Ek9 to dc2

I'm thinking about swapping my ek9 for a 98 spec teg jdm. The teg has done 70km and is mint bar the spoiler issue they all have and a few bushes here n there. It's basically standard other than a cusco roll rage.
What sort of money would you value this at?
I have a yellow ek9. Practically re bushed the car this year detailed the paint, new clutch re bolstered the recaros and much more. Down side being one of the arches has started to blow out. The arch is solid and I've been quoted 170 to fix it.

The reason I want to swap is too hold the value in the car I have while I say for an fd2

What are your thoughts?

Personally I would keep the Ek9, generally ek9 are valued more than dc2's. If you want the performance of a dc2 drop a b18c.
 
I'm not looking at performance at all.
I merely want the car u have to hold its value towards the fd2.
The teg is near enoughost standard and only just ticketed 50k (miles)
My ek is modified and one of the arches has blown. Seems like the value would be in the teg but I'm not sure.

How much would you value the Dc2 at, ek9's are going from 5k+ and are rarer than dc2's.
Dc2's are going from 3.5k+, I personally wouldn't be bothered about mileage when buying a car I look at history and previous ownership. Say you spend 200quid on the Ek9 it will increase its value, and you can sell any mods you have to unlock some extra cash.

DC2's are fetching more these days, for 3.5k you'd find a dog, you're looking more around the 5k for a decent spec one and EK9's are more around 6-7k currently. But its all down to what someone is willing to pay for it, all of our cars mean more to us than any cash figure :nice: If i was you id say have the arch done on your EK9 and keep it, they're hard to come by but without photos of both its hard to say.

I paid 4500 for my ek9 and he payed 7250 for his teg. I have put a lot of effort into the 9 though.
 
EASILY keep the ek9!!
SO rare in yellow and seem to hold their value a lot better. I'd absolutely love a yellow 9! Even with a rusty arch you'd get more than you paid for it!
