EK9 'turbo' possibly breaking

I am thinking about doing that, my mates a fabricator so he could sort it! Nope no braces or anything

That's likely the issues with them keep cracking then. High temps and a fair amount of weight hanging off it swinging about with the engine/exhausts movement. You'd have thought such a simple solution would have been put in place if this is a common issue.
Braces are common place in other scenes where turbo/tubular mani upgrades are popular.

tbh you have come a long way with your car, may aswell get it done now

I was going to say the same. I understand the amount of sh*t you've been through with the car now but your already almost there so might be worth keeping it and enjoying it in the meantime. Summer is just round the corner too and once this is finished i'm sure it will be awesome to drive! :nice:

Dont break it bud! Getting whistling!!! ;)

Don't break it Shaun, as Chris_Ho said, summer is just around the corner, I've seen how mint your car is bud, get it sorted and have a blimmin blast :nice:

Don't break it mate! As mentioned your so close and with Vtec6000 willing to help i'm sure your problems would soon be a distant memory!

Don't break it man! Get a cast manifold from go-autoworks, that's what I have and can't fault it! And it only cost me about £100 delivered to me house. Then get a decent T3 turbo and your away again. Would be a shame to break such a clean EK9!

dont let the shite experience your having with racetech ruin your fun with this car. At least wait until you get the turbo and mani back on and get some miles on it before you decide. would be a shame to see it broke after all the effort you've put in.
