Right just a quick question, i was going down the M8 motorway (Glasgow) And i seen a CTR EK9 racing a GTiR pulsar and it was absoulutley hammering it just wondering if it was ne one on here??? The guy in the pulsar wasnt far behind but he was still behind??

Am i right in saying that GTiR's are 227bhp standard with 4x4 drive???

Thats correct, so the EK9 won against the GTIR ?

The pulsar GTIR is truely UNREMARKABLE, yes it has 200 odd Hp but , this is a big but, beacause it has 3 diffs/ lsd's? (i forgot now what it has 3 off LOL)
it makes abot 110 hp at the wheels. its good for lauching but crap for anything else in standard format, an Ek9 should happily keep in front of one:D :D

Im pretty clued on the pulsar, so what i gather from what i seen is this>

It was really hot that day and if the guy in the pulsar still has the intercooler mounted on top of the engine bay then the advantage is straight to the CTR, as i have been told the turbo lag is horendous because of the heat that gets to the intercooler and turbo!

But yes by the look of it the CTR was hammering the GTiR unless the pulsar was playing with him and ready to stamp the loud pedal and say adios!

On a straight line, I think the EK9 might win at the top end, but in a 1/4 mile hmmm no way, pulsar gtir are at least 1 sec faster than me in the 1/4 mile, I drove one once, and the launch of the car is the advantage, because of the AWD :)

my friend had a 300bhp GTi-R that ran 12's. Round a bend i'd rather be in a bath tub though and trying to stop in one, well as my mechanic's father once said about them - they have a perspecs engine, and have teak brake disks with mahogany pads... :D

The pulsr is quite a fragile car, although as rvm said because of the diff the AWD is a clear advantage altho Honda is astounding for reliability a couple of seconds slower in a straight line and u know its never gonna break? I know what id take!
