Acquired this lovely piece of machinery on sunday.
Used to belong to forum member Big_joe, and before that I think it was owned by MarkP?

Anyway, I think it was imported in 2011, and is generally clean, Fantastic to drive and most importantly pretty much completely rust free!:nice:

Absolutely love it!
Here are some pictures from the journey back up the road:

Apologies for the piss poor photo quality.
Should have some better ones up soon!

Plans for it are to get new Red H badges front and rear, new discs and Pads, keeping the paint spot on with wax etc (tiny bit of rust on the boot lip) re-undersealing, then new bushings for a few wee bits and bobs!

then, maybe... just maybe get some M-factory goodies! :drive:

Cheers bud! I see your pretty local so no doubt you'll see me "hooning aboot" at some point.

I hate you.... haha that looks awesome man. Better photos though please.

should be doing a mini photoshoot with this and a mates DC5 in the next coupla weeks, i shall get them posted up here :nice:
Should also be extra clean by this point!

Gave the car a wee clean on the friday/saturday, was pretty pleased with how it turned out.

And then finally a cheeky dodgy five minute photoshop!

Also got delivery of a whole bunch of parts:
Engine mounts
Arb bushes
Timing belt + tensioner
Oil
Coolant
Fuel filter
Oil filter
Plugs
Brake fluid
and RTA bushes

Which should all hopefully be fitted by the end of this week/ early next week ;)

Also can anyone recommend a decent wheel cleaner to remove heavy brake dust?

looks to be a great car mate. very very clean

iron-x, used it on my oem alloys and with one application took off years of burnt on brake dust. I was very impressed with it, Bilberry wheel cleaner is also good but wont get rid of the heavy stuff.

:nice:Cheers mate, was very impressed with the condition it was in when i got it! Hopefully it shall stay that way for the foreseeable future.

Iron x it is then, brake dust is properly baked on! cheers for the reccomendation buddy :thanks:

Looks awesome man! Hope to see it about sometime I am in Falkirk quite often :nice:

Looks lovely. Still dont know why they never put clear side repeaters on 9's though

Cheers lads! Bushell, i totally agree, seems odd that they wouldn't put them on as standard. Must be there for a reason, maybe they are lighter than clear lenses... :troll:

Nah thats nonsense mate. The orange would add weight.... pahahahaha. Whats next on the to do list?
