hey dudes, I'm in the process of flushing my engine of the old coolant and the Service Manual says to remove the engine block drain plug but it seems to be Extremely tight.......is there an easy way to remove it?, has anyone ever removed one before and is there any other way I can drain the engine block of coolant without removing this plug?

Thanks

Probably being held on by corrosion, it happens, try using a larger handle ratchet and maybe spray some wd40 on there.

remove the thermostat and hoses and flush it that way, if the drain bolt is that tight i wouldn't risk breaking something

Use the drain plug on the bottom of the radiator?

Undo the 19mm bolt by mainfold, best way of draining more coolant come out will have to use a breaker bar 1/2 inch they are all ways tight........

finally busted it out, used an extension piece of pipe about 5 feet long on my socket rachet. didn't release violently or anything!
