Hi guys, My oil light comes on but turns back off after driving. And engine oil is fresh and full. I did do a search but i just wana see what you guys say?

Iirc thats to do with oil pressure dropping to 5psi or lower?

HELP PLEASE!! my oil light is still on, basically started the car oil light comes on the dash, i then press the clutch down then the engine cutted out. So i just wana be clear it is down to the oil pump init?

Cause it cant be a sensor switch cause the oil light does turn back off when driving.

I think before you go diving into a new pump and the work required to fit it you should try a second hand pressure sensor and see if it cures the problem. If its no different then yes you could have lost out on £30ish but if it cures the problem you have saved yourself the cost of a new/2nd hand or re-conditioned pump and the labour. It does sound to be an issue with the pump if it goes off when you drive but not definetly. Its a gamble either way realy.

Does it still illuminate when you increase revs in neutral?

Yeah one of my mate was saying the same, save some money and try change a sensor first.

Yes it does illuminate in neutral but then i wait a bit, increase the revs a bit more then the oil light turns back off..
