EP3 civic type r won't start! Help!!!!

I have just finished doing a clutch change on a EP3 for a friend & it won't start now:angry2::angry2::angry2:

The only electrical things that were disconected are the 3 gearbox sensors, 2 lamba sensors & the earth strap.
I removed the clutch last sat & fitted the new one this sat, so the car has been sat for a week with no battery.
The car cranks over as should but just won't start.
It is getting fuel but no spark.
It is as if the immobiliser is stopping the ignition from firing for some reason???
I have checked, dubble checked & triple checked everything to no avail.:((

The car is a 52 plate with OEM alarm & immobiliser.

Anybody know of having to reset the alarm or immobiliser when the battery has been off the car or anything like that???

Any help would be much appreciated!:please:
 
Has it remote locking? If so lock the doors via remote then open by remote and try start it

Yeah it has mate, tried that to no avail.

I really hate it when cars get the better of me!:angry2:
I have packed up for the day to spend some time with my lil man & left the battery on charge for the night, I WILL sort this tomorrow one way or another!
 
Have you knocked the coil pack by accident in anyway? The earth deffinately secured in the correct place? No spark? Strange that! Cant think of anything removed that will stop it sparking!

There is a way of re setting the key fob sounds like immbilser problem will find out. will look on the lap top or phone my locksmith
 
am sure it has the kill swich thing its on the passinger side so just take the glovebox of and its a black/red switch on the rite hand side press it and the car should start.
 
Yeah as above try the intertia switch which cuts fuel to the engine.
 
Also after further inspection today I found that there is fuel getting to the fuel rail but the injectors are not firing eather.

No, not been anywhere near the coil packs & the fact there all not working, I can't have knocked all four! Lol
Yep all earths are fine, the engine wouldn't crack over if it was not earthed properly too.
I have been over every plug/connector with a mutimetter & everything is as it should be.

Check the fuel pump fuse under the bonnet

I have checked every fuse & relay on the car & all are fine.

I have also released today that the little "key" light comes on as it should when you switch the ignition on, but then starts flashing continuously the rest of the time the keys are in the ignition.
Can someone with an EP3 clarify that this light comes on with the ignition but goes out & stays out like the oil & battery light do???

Spoke to local Honda dealers today & they said the only prob they have had like this in the past was when a battery was put back on the car with the keys in the ignition & it wiped the code for the keys.
Re-coded the keys to the car & all was fine again!

For the life of me I can't remember weather the keys were or were not in the car when I but the battery back in, but I am hoping to god this is the prob other wise I'm clue less to what I can do.

well i don't suppose you have a k=pro'd ecu to hand lol,
otherwise could try it with the immob off on the map.

Unfortunatly i dont have a K-pro'd ecu to hand! lol:(

All it was it needed recoding.:wow:

For anyone who has a EP3, DO NOT fit your battery while the keys are in the ignition or jump strat the car battery to battery (use an earth on the engine:secret:)

We learn something new everyday! :lol:
